Weeee, today i recieved my lovely package from the even lovelier Elaine! Check out this beauty :D

In my lovely package is a gorgeous handmade apron! A reeaaallllyyy sweet handmade panda! Some lovely papers, some amazing american sweeties, some FLIPZ!!!! (i have already eaten a fair few of these hehe!) A lovely handmade heart to hang in my hallway! Some beautiful rar rar press cards, a lovely, tingly burts bees lip balm, a sweet animal print scarf, and a really cute little charm :)

EXCITED!!

wow, I have been given the greatest, most exciting news... I am going to be featured seller for the get made shop for all of September! Not only that but i am also holding a shopping event week at the shop, from the 14th of sept we will be open monday to saturday!

We will be using this image as the poster for the event, which is really exciting as I will finally get one of my illustrations open to the public! But we are also holding another shopping night on the 15th of September, which i hope to have my illustration used for this time too!

I am also going to be redoing one of the blackboards in the shop with news of the shopping events and another illustration! All in all next month is going to be very good for me, but for now, it means that i am VERY busy getting everything ready for just next week! I have 18 socks to make today, but will be happy if i manage to make just 10 for now :) I also managed to finish all of my grizzly girl bears, which i will get photos of tomorrow! The only thing left to think about now is how to display my stock on the feature table!!

even newer news!

Ok so i have been planning a new range of toys for a while now, and finally produced my first one yesterday :) I have already made 7 little faces, and now just need to make bodies for the rest! I'm still not 100% sure how successful they will be, but i think that once i have made them all, i will put one on etsy and the rest in the get made shop :) let me know what you think to this little lady!

I am also so proud of myself right now, as most of my hydrangeas are finally dry, i decided to go out and buy some willow wreathes that i could attatch them all to. Only nowhere seems to sell them at the minute! So i took some cutters to matt's mum and dads willow tree, and made my very own wreath from scratch! I love how it all turned out, and if i can collect enough branches then these wreathes will be totally free to make!!

new news!

Welllll i have been a busy bee these past few weeks. I have filled 2 boxes for my swap partners in the lovely package exchange, which i posted yesterday! I've also produced a few more lino cuts and brought some tasty new wool on monday :) I seem to be getting a little faster at creating crochet toys, and am very proud to have produced 3 new toys in 3 days, my favourite of which being my lovely pink fawn :D



Originally i hated her because, as usual, she wasn't originally going to be a fawn, and i thought that her head was way to weird looking to pull off the fawn look, but now that she is all finished i have to say i do quite like her :) Yes i'm still rather unhappy with her face, but i am about to produce another fawn with the green wool that i brought, which hopefully will come out even nicer!
She is made with my 'raspberry' wool, but as i brought a lime colour to, i did produce to other tester toys to play with the new colours!



I have also, as i mentioned earlier, produced a few more lino cuts :) I have made a lovely 'Thanks' carving, which i have printed onto some greeting cards :) some of them have already been put in the get made shop, but these particular 2 cards will be up for sale in my etsy!


And fiinnaaallllyyyy i have also been busy drying out some GORGEOUS hydrangea flowers. I intend to made a bunch of wreaths this year to sell for christmas, and i have such a love for hydrangeas, that there really wasn't any thought in this decision! My partners lovely nanna has let me go wild taking cuttings from all of her hydrangea bushes, and i think so far i have about a quater of all of the flowers i intend to get, but i don't think i can stop now that I have started!

These beautiful flowers are all over my house at the minute, as this bucket is less than half of all of the flowers i actually have! They are all changing colours and i feel like i could cry at the shear beauty of them :) I really can't wait for them to be dry and ready to create with :) but only a few more days for all of these!

for the past few days i've only had one thing on my mind. Nestle flipz! Does anybody remember these little beauties??

They were the tastiest thing in the world, and they're gone! I haven't seen these arounf in nearly 12 years now and i think i would kill for them! I've been trying to find some that are available to the UK but for 2 bags it works out at £7!! And they used to be 40p a bag! I could cry!!! If anyone can find any of these at a good price then let me know!! I need my fix!! Haha x

I have spent my morning browsing etsy (as usual) even though i KNOW i should be getting on with some more uni work! But i did stumble on some little treasures that i would LOVE to own. And i think i will share them with you :)

letterpress and giggles

last night i did a little doodle and decided to share it with you all :) I do actually quite like the kings of leon, and this little picture is inspired by their lovely tune, 'sex on fire'


Also, i recieved a lovely bunch of letter press last week which i had a little experiment with :) Will definately have more to come! But letterpress makes doggy happy!


Other than that I have been feeling fairly poorly for the past few weeks and just have been too run down to do anything! I have another request for an illustrated mug to do, and i also decided that after buying a few pairs of GORGEOUS new shoes, I am going to illustrate all of the shoes I own :) that will take a while!! But these plans are still in progress, and as soon as i feel a little less dead, i WILL do them all!! x
