Lucy in the sky with diamonds

I can't believe it, but i'm finally in my last 2 weeks of university!! And today I went in to photograph some of my 3d work :) i thought I'd share my two most recent pieces with you all. Both images are photo's of some 3d, needle felted sculptures I made, based on the beatles song 'Lucy in the sky with diamonds.'

The first image is based on the first verse of the song, showing tangerine trees, and the girl with kaleidoscope eyes :) the second is from the second verse, based on a rocking horse person, some very tall green and yellow flowers, and some marshmallows! I'll be soooo happy to finish this course :) let the count down begin!

Clever you!!! The 'girl' (with the kaleidoscope eyes) in the first photo is lovely! The second one would cause great amusement in our house, the boys collapse in fits of giggles at 'BOOBIES!' Well done you, a big party is due in 2 weeks I reckon! xxx

These are beautiful, Ness - for obvious reasons I'm quite a fan of this song but have never seen anything like your pretty creations before. The rocking horse person has rocking hair ;o)

Well done - hope you're on for a first in your degree! Enjoy the last couple of weeks, Lucy xox
