FLOWER POWER

woohoo! Without a doubt the best thing about my lovely new home is that I have a garden now! I can finally indulge my love for growing things :) This morning I had a little potter around my front and back garden snapping pictures of some of my plants that are either in full bloom or fruit :) and I just had to share them with you all! My personal favourite is the metal tub full of flowers, I brought a new pink tub yesterday to have a cute mini version :) I think this one will look lovely once all of the flowers have grown a little more!

ideas!!

I have just spent my morning browsing all of my favourite sites and looking at lovely things, and i have made a decision. I would LOVE to start doing trades!! I've done one organised trade before, and it's been too long! I know my blog doesn't get tons of readers, but I intend to try and keep posting a little more regularly, and to try and boost the blog :) I would really love people to request trades with me, so for example I could make a crochet doll for someone in return for something else cute :) trades don't even need to be hand made! Obviously selling my stuff is always lovely, but how nice it would be to get a little bundle of cute stuff every now and again :D.

what's going on?

Well now i do have a few photo's i need to take and upload soon, but at the minute I'm feeling far too lazy! Some of my pieces have been moved to the front window in the shop which is lovely :) and I have also produced a range of pretty little brooches to sell at the craft day next Sunday! I'll be making some yummy cakes to take with me too, so will be sure to get lots of photos of this Years event :) The main reason I've not been so active on here lately is due to the huge work we're having to go through to convert our front garden into a driveway! So far we've only had to spend £80 to get a tree stump out, and have done the rest of the work and got the rest of the materials for free so far. However this has been a pretty poo month for money for us :( we originally had £800 saved up for the driveway, but a bunch of bills took £700 of that away from us! We have had a quote for our curb to be lowered, plus quotes for the hardcore and concrete, which will take the driveway to about £1000 all together, and we only have £100! I think it's safe to say that this project is going to take a long time to finish :( unless I can win a bunch of money from somewhere!!!
Promise to put a nicer, more colourful and less boring post next time! I just needed the rant!!

woohoo, my stuff finally went up in the get made shop yesterday, so i have taken a bunch of photo's of my bits dotted around the shop :) see how many you can find!!

yay! my strawberry beauty is finally finished :) she's going into the get made shop on thursday! Along with all my other bits and bobs :) I will be sure to get plenty of photos once everything is in place!
