etsy upload

well today i actually got around to snapping a few new pics of my old items, and they are now up again in my etsy store. Another cool thing today, i got a great big pile of fur fabrics to make some teddies :D all i need now are some teddy joints! watch this space!

new YORK

on a seperate topic now, i'm going to new york on tuesday for 5 days! I can't wait to go :D my friend natasha was meant to come with me but she didn't get to pay intime. So this week i intend to make a little dolly natasha to take around new york, so that she doesn't miss everything! I'm really looking forward to it, but i'm abitnervy at the same time. It's my first time out of the uk in quite a while, and i'm terrible with flying! Oh well should all work out fine :)

new look continued

woo well i have finally finished my painted background for my creations, and have decided to use matt the sock cat to show you how it looks :)

hopefully i'll get used to my new camera abit better soon, but for now the pictures are ok! this is the original background design i made on my laptop before painting it all on wood :)

And what else have i been upto? well a few weeks ago i downloaded a pattern to make a teddy bear. However it's not something i've actually done before, so my little trial ted came out a little bit scruffy! But i think she's still sweet :)
She isn't jointed or anything because I decided to do a few practise bears before using any proper materials. I had a few problems with the gingham fabric as it kept fraying, and all of her stitching was hand sewn, so she could be much neater!

and on each of her arms and legs i've sewn on a little button, to help me attatch all her peices together :)

not the VERY messy edges! the worst part was attatching the head, i had absolutly no idea how to go about that, but i vaguely got there in the end lol!

NEW LOOK

wooo happy new year everyone. It's been a while since i've posted anything, but finally i have a new camera, and have decided to update the look of my etsy store :) which i think looks very pretty! also i intend to paint a background, to use behind all of my creations in photos for my etsy shop :) I can't wait to re-take all of my photo's, i hope you'll all like them!

FINALLY

phew! at last i've managed to get photo's of my most recent stuff, so what have i been upto lately? well mostly crochet and jewellery making, i've made 7 charm bracelettes which i'm rather proud of :) and will be popping up on my etsy account today
I've also been making a range of crochet christmas decorations, which i intend to post on my etsy, as soon as i have created a full set. So far i've made a set of 3 snow men decorations and one polar bear, but i intend to make 2 more polar bears and 3 reindeers in the next couple of weeks :)
I'm ALSO working on a new, full size crochet panda doll. So far i've only made the head but i'm rather proud of it so far
And finally, a couple of weeks ago i made this lovely ape doll for university. I intend to sell her later next year after she has been marked, but i think she's lovely :)

halloweeeeeeen

Phew! it's been SO long since i posted anything on here :( i really need the internet at home! I have been making things recently but haven't been able to get photo's to upload onto here yet because of crappy camera, and awquardness of knowing when i will next be able to use a pc! So what's new? Well obviously i've been in uni now for a month, and i'm working on 3 different project at the moment. One is an illustration project about a button going on a journey, one is an animated self portrait, and one is a little 3d model, which i will show and explain once he is finished! I've also gone on some mass walks of lincoln to hunt out all of the good shops, and managed to find a whole road of fab craft and traditional toy/sweet shops. I've also spoken to some shop people who want to take a look at the stuff i make, so i might get to sell a few of my things in lincoln, how cool?!
I can't wait for halloween this year, mostly because it's an excuse to decorate my own home for the first time, yay! Also the Craftzine have brought out a range of contests for halloween, which i intend to try and enter a couple, check them out on the link in my side bar :) . Etsy also have a halloween contest, but it's for US residents only so that's pretty poo :(. Other than that though everybody, stay posted! after halloween or hopefully just before, i'll update with mass photos!
